The term ‘HEURO’, ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the website www.heuro.org.uk (the ‘Website’).
The term ‘you’ refers to the member or viewer of our website.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the HEURO service and website.
By visiting the HEURO website you accept, and agree to, the content of these Terms and Conditions.
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) defines the terms and conditions on which we enable you to make an online booking for yearly Membership and/or a place for any of our events.
The price for membership is as quoted on our website under ‘Join HEURO’
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect Memberships in respect of which we have already sent a confirmation email and that are currently in the middle of their yearly membership, except in cases of obvious error.
The price of any of our Events will be as quoted on each event page.

You may pay for your booking online by credit and debit card. We regret that we cannot accept cheques, credit notes or cash as payment for Membership or event bookings made online through our payment gateway.
Credit and debit card payments made online through our website are processed by a secure payment collection service.
Our online payment processing is undertaken by Barclays EPDQ.
When you pay for Membership or event bookings online, you will be required to login to the members’ area (if you are an existing HEURO member), or register as a member of HEURO. We will collect details about you and then you will be transferred to Barclays to finalise your order.
We cannot guarantee the security of data which you send us by email. Unless we are fraudulent or negligent, we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to the personal and transactional information that you provide us when placing an order.
Confirmation of your Order
When placing an order for Membership and/or events you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order request. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order request constitutes an offer to us to process a membership place and/or to secure a place at one of our events. We will confirm all acceptance to you by sending you a confirmation e-mail stating that the order has been confirmed (the ‘order confirmation’).
The contract between us (‘Contract’) will only be formed when we send you the order confirmation. The contract will relate only to the Membership and/or event which we have confirmed in the order confirmation.
Should our events have a limited number of places; these will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings.
You will receive timing and venues for all event bookings once your order has been processed. If this information has not been received one week prior to the event please contact us.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations received in writing by HEURO, prior to 7 days before the event will be refunded in full to the institution making the payment. No refunds will be made for event cancellations after this date or for non-attendance.
No charge will be made for replacement delegates.
Our Right to Vary these Terms and Conditions
We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.
You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you place an order with us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously made by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the order confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the order confirmation).
Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts for the ordering of Membership and/or events through our site will be governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
